Terms of Service

The terms that govern this website, our instant quotes, and the services you request from Cool Aid Air Conditioning.

Effective date: August 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of coolaidac.com, our instant quote tool, our text messaging program, and any quote, booking or service request you submit to Cool Aid Air Conditioning Of Sw Fl Inc ("Cool Aid Air Conditioning", "we", "us" or "our"). By using this site or requesting service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who we are

Cool Aid Air Conditioning is a Florida-licensed, insured air conditioning contractor (License CAC058670) owned by Dave Link and located at 6420 Abisco Rd, Cocoa, FL 32927. We provide air conditioning repair, replacement, maintenance, duct work, indoor air quality and related services to homes and businesses across Brevard County and the Space Coast. Work is performed in accordance with Chapter 489, Florida Statutes, and the Florida Building Code. Where Florida law requires notices in a residential contract, including information about the Florida Homeowners' Construction Recovery Fund, those notices will appear in your written contract.

Use of this website

  • You may use this site for lawful purposes only, to learn about, price and request our services.
  • You may not attempt to interfere with the site, gain unauthorized access to it or the systems behind it, submit false information, or use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to copy content or overload the site or quote tool.
  • You must be at least 18 and have authority to request work on the property; tenants are responsible for obtaining the owner's approval before work begins.

Instant quotes, estimates and pricing

Our instant quote tool provides Good, Better and Best price ranges for new systems based on the equipment type and tonnage you select. Instant quotes are non-binding estimates, not offers. They assume a standard replacement of existing equipment and are subject to on-site verification of your home, the existing system, ductwork, electrical service, code requirements and access. Repair estimates given by phone or online are likewise preliminary. Final pricing is confirmed in writing after a technician assesses the site, and you approve that price before work begins. You are never obligated to proceed after receiving a quote or a free second opinion.

  • Prices, promotions, rebates and equipment availability may change without notice. Promotions cannot be combined unless stated.
  • Manufacturer rebates, utility rebates and federal tax credits are offered by third parties on their own terms; we will help with paperwork but cannot guarantee approval or amounts.
  • Discounts for educators, first responders and military are subject to eligibility verification and apply only where stated.
  • Additional work discovered after a job begins (for example, damaged ductwork or code-required electrical corrections) will be quoted and approved by you before it is performed.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

  • We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and same-day service is available in most cases. Appointment times are arrival windows, not guarantees, and may shift due to emergency calls, weather, hurricane conditions or parts availability. During a declared state of emergency we prioritize calls based on safety and need.
  • You are responsible for providing safe, clear access to the equipment and work area, including attics, closets, rooftops and outdoor units; securing pets; and disclosing known hazards such as mold, pests, unsafe wiring, structural damage or prior flood exposure.
  • Please give reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Any trip, diagnostic or missed-appointment fees that apply will be disclosed to you before they are charged.

Permits and inspections

Equipment replacements and certain repairs require a mechanical permit and inspection under Florida law. We obtain required permits for work we perform and schedule inspections with the appropriate Brevard County or municipal building department. You agree to allow inspector access. Work performed by others is not covered by our permits.

Payment

  • Payment is due as set out in your invoice or contract. Equipment orders may require a deposit before ordering, with the balance due on completion.
  • We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice. Financing, where offered, is provided by third-party lenders on their own terms and subject to their credit approval; we are not the lender.
  • Overdue balances may be subject to late charges, interest and reasonable collection costs as permitted by Florida law. Florida's Construction Lien Law (Chapter 713, Florida Statutes) may apply to improvements to your property; any required lien-law notice will be included in your contract.

Workmanship and warranties

New equipment is covered by the manufacturer's limited warranty on the manufacturer's terms. Rheem and other manufacturer warranties generally require product registration within a set period after installation and may require documented annual maintenance; we will register qualifying equipment on your behalf when you provide the necessary information. Our workmanship warranty for installations and repairs is as stated on your invoice or contract, and that document governs its length and scope. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, unauthorized repairs, power surges, lightning, flooding, storm or hurricane damage, salt-air corrosion beyond normal wear, pests, or other conditions outside our control. Except as stated on your invoice or contract, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Florida law that cannot be waived.

Text messaging program terms

By providing your mobile number and checking the consent box on a form, replying to a text from us, or asking us to text you, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Cool Aid Air Conditioning about your quote, appointments, service and, where you have opted in, offers. Messages may be sent using an automated system. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel; you will receive one final confirmation message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (321) 495-5395 or info@coolaidac.com. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile numbers and opt-in consent are never sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Emergencies

If you see fire or smoke, smell burning or electrical odors, or believe a person is in danger, leave the building and call 911 from a safe location before contacting us. Our 24-hour line is for air conditioning service, not life-safety emergencies. If someone in the home is elderly, very young or medically vulnerable and you lose cooling in extreme heat, move them somewhere cool while you wait for service.

No professional advice

Articles, tips, pricing guides and other information on this site are general in nature and are not an assessment of your specific equipment or home. Do not rely on them in place of an on-site inspection by a licensed technician. Energy-savings figures, efficiency ratings and rebate amounts come from manufacturers, utilities and government programs and may not reflect your actual results.

Content you submit

If you send us photos, descriptions or reviews, you confirm you have the right to share them and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use them to quote, perform and document your job and, for reviews you post publicly or authorize, to promote our services. You may withdraw permission for promotional use at any time by contacting us.

Intellectual property

Site content, including text, photographs of our work, the Cool Aid snowman logo, layout and design, is owned by Cool Aid Air Conditioning or its licensors and is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only. Rheem and other manufacturer names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners.

Third-party links and tools

This site links to third-party websites and embeds third-party tools, including our instant quote widget, financing applications and social media. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Cool Aid Air Conditioning, its owner, employees and subcontractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of use, spoiled food, lost income, or damage caused by delays in service, arising from your use of this website or the information on it. Our total liability arising from services we perform is governed by your invoice or contract and, to the extent permitted by law, is limited to the amount you paid for the services in question. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights as a consumer under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cool Aid Air Conditioning from claims and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of this site, your violation of these Terms, inaccurate information you provide, or undisclosed hazards on your property.

Governing law and venue

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from our services are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and by applicable U.S. federal law. You agree that the exclusive venue for any legal action shall be the state courts located in Brevard County, Florida, or, where federal jurisdiction exists, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division. Before filing any claim, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute directly for at least 30 days.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version applies whenever you use the site, and the effective date above will reflect the most recent change. Work already under a signed contract is governed by the terms in that contract.

General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. Where these Terms conflict with your signed contract or invoice, the signed contract controls.
